Detectives say 30-year-old Leonard Adams was arrested April 1 after three burglaries were reported in the Town of Union.

Authorities say Adams is charged with two counts of felony burglary, three counts of felony grand larceny and one misdemeanor count of criminal mischief.

Officials say two vehicles were stolen from car dealerships that were forced to close during the emergency.

Detectives say Adams was found in possession of one of the stolen vehicles as well as stolen properties from the three burglaries when he was stopped for a traffic issue in Tompkins County.

Adams was released after being charged.
