Governor Andrew Cuomo says the lowest number of New Yorkers vaccinated is in the group age 16 to 25.  He says that makes sense since the younger people are the newest to be placed in the eligible group for the vaccine and those under the age of 18 can only get the Pfizer vaccine.  Moderna and the Johnson & Johnson shots are not approved for people under 18 years old.

Cuomo says the group with highest vaccination numbers are those aged 65 to 74 with 70 percent vaccinated.
