UPDATE Candor Man Indicted on Sex Offense Charge in Custody

Tioga County Sheriff’s officials say a Candor man they were looking for following his  indictment on a felony sexual abuse charge is in custody.

Authorities had asked for the public's help in locating 69-year-old David Woodard who was indicted on the felony charge as well as misdemeanor counts of forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.

The Sheriff's office reports that Woodard was apprehended but did not give any details concerning the arrest.

The authorities, do, however, thank the public for its help.
