Authorities say 24-year-old Dakota Davenport, 26-year-old Macey Newkirk and 36-year-old Zane Marvin are accused of fleeing in a vehicle reaching speeds over 100 miles an hour after allegedly being involved in a Pharsalia burglary.

Sheriff’s officials say Davenport was driving a 1998 Subaru Legacy when authorities attempted to stop him after he was confirmed driving 101 miles per hour.

Davenport and front seat passenger, Zane Marvin covered their faces while police gave chase from Norwich to McDonough for about 45 minutes.  During that time, items including saws, clothing, gun cases and BB guns were flung from the vehicle.

Davenport finally stopped on Tucker Road in McDonough and took off on foot.  The passengers were taken into custody and a Sheriff’s Deputy and his K9 tracked Davenport for over five miles before he was captured.

All three are charged with burglary while Davenport is additionally charged with vehicle and traffic law violations.

The trio was sent to the Chenango County Jail.
