Binghamton Restaurant Week continues, and that makes me happy. Actually it's happening through Thursday October 27th. There are several Binghamton restaurants that are participating.

This time around, a portion of proceeds from the week benefits CHOW and TruthPharm. Every restaurant offers a special menu with a fixed price of three or four course meals.

Earlier this week, I visited Burger Mondays, and on Thursday (10/20) I grabbed Kathy Whyte and we visited Thai Time on Front Street, Binghamton. It was immediately obvious Thai Time is a popular restaurant and bar. There were many people enjoying food and the amazing bar.

Given that it was busy, I didn't notice any lag in serving time. Our server and those around us were quick and attentive to their customers. That's what you want to experience in any restaurant.

For our 3 course meal, I chose the fried Calamari for an appetizer. Kathy chose the Martini Seafood Salad, which was something I've never seen before. It was amazing!

My main course meal was the Chicken Stir Fry, and Kathy chose the Pho (pronounced “Fuh”), an Asian noodle soup of your choice of meat, seafood or even tofu and the diner dresses the dish up at desired with bean sprouts, jalapeno peppers, hot sauces or hoisin sauce.

We topped off the night with a rich Chocolate Lava Cake. It's one of my favorite desserts.

Overall, a great setting, staff and of course, food. I highly recommend you give Thai Time a try for Binghamton Restaurant Week and beyond. Check out the picture of our food choices. For complete information on Binghamton Restaurant Week, click on that blue button below!
