For the second time this week, some schools in the region confine students inside the school buildings while police were investigating possible threats.

Classes are back to normal at one Chenango County elementary school following an incident near the campus at the end of the school day September 13.

City of Binghamton Police say an incident on Main Street on the West side shortly before 10 a.m. December 2 was not a case of shots fired.
