On the heels of the deaths of Robin Williams and Joan Rivers came the "lists of those still standing" online. It's understandable. Comedy keeps the world "sane" and they don't make 'em like they used to. So, let's honor those still here.

I got my humor from my Dad and the comedy he enjoyed when he was younger. To me, the "classics" are the best: Abbott & Costello, Ernie Kovacs, Stan Freberg, the Smothers Brothers and Spike Jones.
