Route 17 between Nichols and Lounsberry in Tioga County remains closed and safe detours are marked until further notice.  The road may reopen by Labor Day.

Meanwhile, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Region 4 that includes Susquehanna County says roads there have reopened but motorists should still use caution.

PennDot Region 3, which includes Bradford County, says Warren Center Road in Warren Township may reopen Monday, Leraysville Road in Windham Township may reopen August 4 and Battle Creek Road between North Orwell Road and Waterman Road in Rome may not open until August 14.

PennDOT says, while many roads have been deemed “passible”, motorists should continue to use extreme caution and lookout for the crews working to clear debris and make repairs on roads and bridges that are open to the public.
