Sidney Man Accused of Growing Pot at Home

A Sidney man is facing charges for allegedly growing a cash crop at his home.

Delaware County Sheriff’s officials say the found marijuana plants, drying marijuana and a number of rifles and shotguns October 10 in a search of 46 year old Michael Lynch’s home on County Highway 23.

Lynch is charged with felony criminal possession of marijuana and unlawful cultivation of cannabis.

He’s been ordered to appear n Town of Sidney Court at a later date.

Authorities credit the help of the public through a tip for the arrest.
