Second Year in a Row For Black Bears Roaming in Endicott

Huh. I wonder what it is about Endicott that makes bears want to check out the town. For the second year in a row, a cub has taken to the city streets.

The latest bear sighting was late Sunday night. The bear ended up going back into the woods, but if he found a nice food source, he may be back.

You should know, and I am sure you do, that black bears are dangerous, especially when a cub and it's Mama are involved. Never corner a bear when you see one, but do call your local police.

It seems like I post about bears every year, and sure enough after digging, I discovered I talked about the Endicott bear last year and the Endwell bear my first year here! Yikes!
