
Rumble Ponies Set For Thrilling Championship Showdown Tonight
What an amazing, exciting season! Yes, this is about the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. The 2025 season will go down as one of the best seasons in the history of the Mets organization in Binghamton.
It all ends tonight, September 24th. The Eastern League championship series with the Rumble Ponies and the Erie Seaswolves (Double-A, Detroit Tigers) is down to one game. The Seawolves took game one of the best two out of three series 14-5, but the Rumble Ponies fought back in game two to tie up the series with a 5-4 win, setting things up for a winner-take-all game.

Hopefully, this very talented team will bring home the Eastern League trophy. Either way, it's been such a fun season, and the promotions have been fun for everyone who attends the games.

By the way, this week Minor League Baseball announced Tuesday that right-handed pitcher Jonah Tong was named Eastern League Pitcher of the Year, and infielder/outfielder Jett Williams was named the Major League Baseball Top Prospect in the league.
Also, Manager Reid Brignac was named Eastern League Manager of the Year. 1st baseman Ryan Clifford, right-handed pitchers Jack Wenninger, Douglas Orellana, and Joander Suarez were named to the Eastern League All-Star teams at their respective positions.
