
Rumble Ponies Boast Best Road Record
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies are in Erie to begin a three-game series against the Erie Seawolves tonight at 7:05 (6:50 airtime on News Radio 1290 WNBF). The Rumble Ponies are 34-23 and are four games behind the first place Trenton Thunder in the Eastern Division of the Eastern League. Erie is in third place in the Western Division with a record of 29-31.
Heading into this series the Rumble Ponies have the best road record in the Eastern League. Binghamton has more wins than anyone else on the road with a 21-11 slate. The home record for the Ponies is 13-12. Binghamton is one of just three Eastern League teams with a winning record away from home.
The Rumble Ponies play another 7:05 game on Wednesday night and finish the series with a 12:05 game on Thursday afternoon. Binghamton then returns home for six games beginning on Friday with a three-game series versus Reading.
