Ross Park Zoo’s Feast For The Beasts Is Back
If it's the month of May, it must be time again for Ross Park Zoo's popular Feast for the Beasts fundraiser. This year (2025), Feast for the Beasts will be held at the Zoo on Thursday, May 22nd. Gates for admission to this event will be from 5 to 6 p.m.
The fundraiser allows guests to embark on an adventure, dining amongst the animals, perhaps taking a chance on fabulous raffle items, and jamming to the folk music stylings of Finding Bigfoot, continuing a years-old tradition and raising funds for America’s 5th zoo!

Feast for the Beasts will include a raffle, including specialty themed baskets, golf packages, and even a getaway at the Confluence Running Airbnb in Lake Placid.
Food? Oh yeah, from Marilu’s Catering, soup and bread from Chat-a-Wyle, world-famous boneless chicken wings from Nips Park Avenue Saloon, Cantina chicken nachos and Elote corn from Dave & Busters, Pancho’s Pit meatball sandwiches from The Little Oak Neighborhood Bistro & Bakery, Gabriella’s Cakes and Co. desserts, cookies from Vestal Sam’s Club and a whiskey tasting from Dragonfyre Distillery.
Feast for the Beasts benefits conservation, education, and animal welfare programs at the zoo, leading into the annual Ross Park Zoo Grand Opening Weekend that begins the morning after Feast for the Beasts, on May 23.
