
What To Know: Binghamton University & SUNY Broome Graduation Ceremonies
It's that time again. Binghamton University and SUNY Broome graduations are scheduled this month (May 2025). That means a lot of happy students moving on in life to hopefully an exciting career or maybe continuing education.
SUNY Broome Commencement
At SUNY Broome, commencement ceremonies will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena, 1 Stuart Street, Binghamton.
According the SUNY Broome, All candidates graduating in Fall 2024, Spring 2025 and Summer 2025 will be invited to participate. For more information, visit the SUNY Broome commencement information website.
Binghamton University Commencements
Over 4,700 degrees for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral candidates during nine separate Commencement ceremonies will occur, according to Binghamton University in May. Thursday, May 15, through Saturday, May 17, there will be a total of three ceremonies.

For Doctoral candidates, each school will have its ceremony on May 15, beginning at 12:30 p.m., except for PharmD degree graduates. Those degrees will have their own ceremony.
Binghamton University notes that the Doctoral Hooding and the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences ceremonies will be held in the University’s Osterhout Concert Theater. All other ceremonies will be held in the University’s Events Center.

The members of this year’s graduating class have demonstrated their capabilities as students and scholars, and I commend them for their hard work and dedication. - 9 a.m. — School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Osterhout Concert Theater, Anderson Center
- 12:30 p.m. — Doctoral Hooding Ceremony, Osterhout Concert Theater, Anderson Center
- 4:30 p.m. — Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Events Center
Friday, May 16
- 8:30 a.m. — Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science, Events Center
- 1 p.m. — College of Community and Public Affairs, Events Center
- 4:30 p.m. — School of Management, Events Center
Saturday, May 17
- 8:30 a.m. — Harpur College of Arts and Sciences 1, Events Center
- 12:30 p.m. — Harpur College of Arts and Sciences 2, Events Center
- 4:30 p.m. — Harpur College of Arts and Sciences 3, Events Center
