Now that spring is here, we are beginning to hear of great things happening throughout the Southern Tier of New York and Northeast Pennsylvania. One such event is an annual event from the Ross Park Zoo on Morgan Road, Binghamton.

The Ross Park Zoo is America's 5th oldest zoo, opening in 1875. This year, the zoo is celebrating 150 years. The zoo currently has five American Red Wolves under its care, available for public viewing at the Greenlight Networks Wolf Woods Education Center.

This year, the annual Eggstravaganza will be returning.  It's the Ross Park Zoo’s annual celebration of spring, featuring games, crafts, prizes, candy, Eco-Blitz stations, an egg scavenger hunt, and photo opportunities with E. Bunny.

The zoo’s animals also get into the act with their spring-themed toys, snacks, and other enrichment items that guests will get to watch them enjoy. The 2025 Ross Park Zoo Eggstravaganza is held over two days - Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19, with gates opening at 10 a.m. with the last admission at 3 p.m. each day!

Ross Park Zoo members and children 2 and under get in for free. For all others, the general admission price is $10, and that includes your park admission as well.
