Some of the people who will be living in a new Endicott apartment complex may have gone to school there.

The old Henry B. Endicott School on Jackson Avenue has been converted into a residential building.

Move-in day is coming soon for the Endicott Square apartments, although the developer won't say exactly when. Michael LeClair of Housing Visions in Syracuse declined to provide information about the $22 million project.

In an email statement to WNBF News, LeClair indicated a ribbon cutting event would be held soon. He also said applications are still being accepted.

The two-story former school will have 61 apartments with a total of 79 bedrooms.

The 77,000-square-foot building was used as a Broome-Tioga BOCES learning center. It more recently housed offices for several businesses.

Housing Visions acquired the property from Marchuska Development for $750,000 in January 2020.
