March 3rd 1984, Queen scored a number two hit on the UK singles chart with 'Radio Ga-Ga.' In the US, the song peaked at number 16.

It was Queen's last tune to break into the US top forty singles chart until 'Bohemian Rhapsody' in 1992. 'Radio Ga-Ga' was written by Roger Taylor. Part of the song refers to TV becoming dominant over Radio, and the sudden popularity of music videos such as the emergence of the new cable TV channel - MTV, challenging the Radio medium. Well, we all know how that eventually turned out. Score another one for Radio!

One of their best live performances, if not the best, of 'Radio Ga Ga' was in 1985 during the Live Aid Concert at Wembley Stadium, and here it is for your enjoyment!
