Pre-Trial Hearing Set in Sexual Abuse of a Teen Case
A pre-trial hearing is set for October 16 for an Endwell man who turned down a plea deal in August for allegedly sexually abusing a teenager three years ago.
40-year-old Scott Frendenberg could have been sentenced to three years if he had accepted the deal to plead guilty to felony sexual abuse.
Fredenberg was accused of having oral sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl in October 2015 and forcible sex with the child in January of 2016. He’s charged with felony rape, sexual abuse and criminal sexual act and faces up to 25 years in prison if found guilty.
