Portion of House in Johnson City Collapses

Johnson City police and fire personnel responded to a report of a portion of a house that had collapsed last night in the village.  Officials report the call came in at 9:09 P.M.  The address is 59 Allen Street in Johnson City.  The wall that collapsed was located at the rear of a three-story structure.

No injuries were reported and residents in the dwelling were forced to evacuate.  The investigation is continuing into the cause of the wall collapse.  Traffic on Allen Street near the scene of the collapse was moving after responders left the site.
