Due to the coronavirus pandemic necessitating further distancing between people at the polls, Binghamton University’s voting place on-campus has been moved to the Events Center.

Officials with the Board of Elections say anyone who goes to their designated polling place before the close of voting at 9 p.m. will be allowed to cast a ballot.  There had been some concerns voiced by residents who didn’t get a chance to participate in the days of early voting that ended on Sunday evening as long waits were noted at the four pre-election day polling sites.  Wait times in the first few days of early voting sometimes exceeded two hours.
