Pennsylvania Governor Clears Marina, Golf Course and Campground Reopening
Campgrounds in Pennsylvania are being given the green light to reopen.
Governor Tom Wolf April 27 announced golf courses, marinas, guided fishing trips and privately owned campgrounds can resume operations with measures to guard against COVID-19.
Private campgrounds in the state can begin to reopen May 1 with proper precautions while state campgrounds will remain closed through May 14.
Governor Wolf says, “As we start to take measured, limited steps to reopen our commonwealth, reopening these industries will help to rebuild our economy and strengthen our mental health.”
People are advised to remember social distancing staying at least six feet away from othes while fishing, camping or engaging in other outdoor activities and educate children about how to stay safe.
Outdoor enthusiasts are also reminded to only go out if they feel healthy and have not been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
