The New York Giants continue their preseason schedule with a trip to Buffalo to taken on Rex Ryan and the Bills, pregame coverage begins Saturday at 3:05p on 991 The Whale.

We didn't see much action from the first squad in last weeks 27-10 lost to the Dolphins.

The game was basically a farm team scrimmage with both teams substituting several players at various positions to grade their performances and make decisions how if they will fit into the upcoming season.

The negatives, Giants kicker Josh Brown will not play in the season opener on September 11th in Dallas, Brown has been suspended for violating the NFL Personal Conduct Policy. . The suspension comes from an incident between Brown and his former wife that took place last year.

This is Josh Brown's press release statement: “Like everybody's aware of, this moment happened over a year ago,” Brown said. “The case was dropped five days after the moment happened, and we've moved forward with our lives at this point. While I'm not okay with the decision, I have to respect it. I look forward to a 15-game season and moving forward with my teammates.”

The Giants defense looked fair Janoris Jenkins, JPP and rookie Eli Apple stood out at times.

The Giants offense, without Eli Manning, Odell Beckham Junior and the main offensive Line, coughed off the ball several times which led to the 27-10 loss.

Look for limited time for Big Blues first string again this week, with two more pre season games after this one, Coach Ben McAdoo will still be tweaking his team and sizing up stand outs.

Expect the same for Rex Ryans Bills.

I enjoy this time of the year, because many times you get to see the next rising star emerge.

Catch all the action beginning with the pre-game show Saturday at 3:05pm on your station for New York Giants football, 991 the Whale.
