They are so irresistible. Sometimes it is hard to pass by without dropping some cash to 'win' a prize. Win, meaning you paid for that product, sometimes for more than it is worth.
Yes, I am describing a prize vending machine. They dispense just about everything under the sun these days from gumballs to that 'mystery prize.'

And there are those that make you work for your prize, like the claw machine game. It is a fun challenge. That is until you lose the challenge, walking away without that stuffed animal along with the money you spent on the failed effort.
There is a claw machine game at the Meadows Family Fun Mini Golf in Duncansville, Pennsylvania, just south of Altoona filled with the usual stuffed prizes, but recently it was discovered that there was something more than the normal items you would find in one of these claw machines.
According to a social media post from the South Central Pennsylvania Game Commission, employees were alerted that something was moving around inside the machine.
After members from the local police department arrived, the Pennsylvania Game Commission was contacted, and Warden Salvadore Zaffuto responded. He found that a groundhog had somehow managed to get inside the claw machine game, but was not successful in exiting.
