A weekly update of coronavirus pandemic numbers from the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania shows a continued surge in new cases of COVID-19 and additional deaths.

Bradford County reports 4 fatalities for a total of 112. It recorded 260 new cases over the week for a total of 7,308.

Susquehanna County had one death for the week for a total of 65 and 168 new cases for a total of 3,429 cases to-date.

Three fatalities were reported for the week in Wayne County for a total of 103 deaths and 233 new cases for a total of 5,413.

The office of Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf is reporting 70% of residents age 18 and older are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The Democrat's office says as of October 13,  Pennsylvania vaccine providers have administered 13,135,136 COVID-19 vaccines. The commonwealth ranks 7th nationally in first doses administered.
