New York is announcing its lowest daily death toll and hospitalizations from the coronavirus since the pandemic surfaced in March.

June 13, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced 23 people had died of COVID-19 and 1,600 new hospitalizations.

New York has had a total of 383,324 cases of the coronavirus and a total of 24,495 people have died.  The numbers are still trending the lowest in the nation, in spite of New York being the epicenter for the pandemic only three months ago.

Broome County reports five additional cases of COVID-19 from June 12 for a total of 619 and 49 deaths.  Chenango County had 137 cases, up two from the June 11 report and six deaths. Cortland County reports 45 cases and one death. Delaware County has 79 cases and five deaths and Tioga County reported two new deaths from June 13 for a total 150 cases and 24 deaths.

Pennsylvania has had 76,567 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 2,231 probable cases.  Bradford County has 43 confirmed cases and three deaths, Susquehanna County 164 confirmed cases and 17 deaths and Wayne County 119 confirmed cases and 9 deaths.
