It's exciting news for Buffalo, New York, and fans of the Buffalo Bills that a new stadium will become a reality by 2027. The current stadium has been a great place for the Bills along with other entertainment including concerts from the biggest acts on the planet.

But the time has come for a newer, more modern stadium. According to WKBW-TV in Buffalo, New York State Governor Kathy Hochul was in Buffalo on Monday (December 20th) and commented on the state of the new stadium.

In the report, the Governor was asked questions on any updates. There is a discussion on where the new stadium should be built. Should it be in Orchard Park or built in the Downtown Buffalo area? The answers could come as early as the end of the year, or sometime in early to mid-2022.

She responded that it's up to the Buffalo Bills organization. Keeping the stadium in Orchard Park is good for the businesses around it. Many rely on the business that comes with football season, and to lose that revenue could be bad. I can imagine businesses in the Downtown Buffalo area are hoping the stadium comes nearer to them, plus it would be a great addition as the city continues to develop the downtown area.

WKBW-TV report states that the new stadium would seat 60,000 and could cost around $1.4 billion dollars. For those of you who are Buffalo Bills fans, where would you like to see the new stadium built?

The arguments for both areas are compelling. I tend to favor tradition, and that would be to keep the stadium in Orchard Park. Either way, it's exciting that a new stadium will soon be built, and I can't wait to see it in person, hopefully sometime in 2027.
