The Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers will compete in the milestone 50th Super Bowl this Sunday night in Santa Clara, California.

39 year old Peyton Manning against 26 year old Cam Newton, one facing retirement, the other building a dynasty.

The Carolina Panthers have all the momentum going into this game, they have lost one game all season.

I think the key to this game will be how well Denver's #1 defense can play against Cam Newton and his ability to pass and run with the ball.

Denver has struggled all season on the offensive side and the Panthers have the #2 defense, so I don't see them scoring a lot of points.

Turnovers could be a big factor, and when Manning has been in the game this season Denver has turned it over 18 times, while the Panthers D has forced 19 turnovers against opposing teams this season.

I would love to see Peyton Manning go out on a winning note with a victory, but in my decades as a sports fan I know the reality is not in his favor.

I also have seen my share of upsets, so never say never, case in point,a mathematical model that has been used in past super bowls to predict the matchups, had the Bengals and the Cardinals in SB 50, so much for computer analysis.

I think Carolina is too much for Denver and will defeat them easily by at least 14 points, but I will be rooting for Manning and the Broncos!

Can the Broncos stop Cam Newton?

It's the last game of the season, so lets get ready for some football!

Go Broncos!
