
Motorcyclist Dies Following Collision With Pickup Truck in the Town of Barton
Tioga County Sheriff's officials are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened in the Town of Barton May 12.

According to a news release from the Sheriff's office, Deputies were called to a serious injury motorcycle/ pickup truck crash on State Route 34 in the Town of Barton at 9:41 a.m. Thursday.
Responders arriving on the scene found the motorcyclist seriously hurt and members of the public administering CPR.
24-year-old Brandon Burnham of Elmira was taken to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after reaching the hospital.
The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Greater Valley EMS and the Tioga County Crash Investigation Unit.
There was no information concerning the condition or identity of the driver of the pickup truck.
