A 21-year-old man faces five additional burglary charges in connection with a series of break-ins at churches across Broome County.

Authorities say Skuyler Reynolds of Chenango Bridge is a suspect in burglaries at churches in Binghamton and Johnson City, as well as in the towns of Chenango, Dickinson and Fenton.

Reynolds is being held in Broome County Jail. He was arraigned on five more counts of burglary and one count of criminal possession of stolen property Wednesday evening. He previously was charged by Binghamton police with burglary and grand larceny.

Binghamton police detectives took Reynolds into custody Tuesday as a prime suspect in a break-in at First Presbyterian Church on Floral Avenue. Investigators believe he also burglarized Holy Spirit Church on Clinton Street.

Several police agencies have been dealing with church break-ins over the last several days.
