Who is The December Nominee?

For December 2025, the nominee is a marching band. No, not a current high school band, but rather an alumni high school marching band. Auchinachie Cares has chosen the Montrose Marching Unit Alumni Band.

This band, comprising former members of the Montrose, Pennsylvania Area School District, is described as a highly respected and competitive marching unit. It has accepted the opportunity to participate in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania's 4th of July parade, honoring the USA's 250 years of independence. Actually, the parade will be held on July 3rd.

The Montrose Marching Unit Alumni Band consisted of over 150 members, and the trip comes with some high costs. The award will help get the marching band closer to funding the trip.

How Can You Help Out The Montrose Marching Unit Alumni Band?

Take a moment, and give the Montrose Marching Unit Alumni Band a like and a share on the Auchinachie Cares website to help them get to Philadelphia in July 2026.
