A Broome County man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after police seized drugs they said had a street value of $1 million.

37-year-old Marlon Graham of Deposit was sentenced in county court Thursday morning.

Graham pleaded guilty to two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. The plea came just as his trial was about to get underway.

The charges stemmed from two drug busts in Broome County last year. In June, police seized methamphetamine in the town of Kirkwood. In November, investigators confiscated fentanyl in the village of Deposit.

A co-defendant, 31-year-old Johnnah Degraw of Deposit, was sentenced in March to 12 years in prison.

In addition to the seizure of drugs, police also confiscated $25,000 in cash and a 2005 Acura as a result of the investigations.
