Authorities say they've made an arrest following the recovery of a stolen rental truck in the town of Kirkwood.

According to the Broome County Sheriff's Office, 18-year-old Connor Diffendorf of Kirkwood has been charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony. He also was charged with third-degree criminal trespass, a misdemeanor.

Diffendorf was accused of possessing a U-Haul truck that had been reported stolen..

Investigators said the vehicle was found in a vacant storage unit at a facility in Kirkwood.

Diffendorf was issued an appearance ticket for Kirkwood town court.

A news release from the sheriff's office did not indicate when the truck had been reported stolen.
