A few years ago, I succumbed to the hype of streaming services. Up to that point, my TV show and movie watching was strictly through cable and a small over the air antenna for local channels. I still do watch a lot of shows on cable and over the air.

I will admit to being a huge fan of Survivor from the start. For me, it's a great show and not one I would give up watching. I don't even DVR the show. I have to watch it live. Can't risk the chance of finding out who got voted off the Island before I see it for myself.

I do find myself enjoying several series on Netflix, and for the price, it's worth the watch. Now, I have heard that Netflix is raising prices to monthly subscriptions soon. So far, I've not received any notification.

Now, the increase isn't much, but it seems that so many services I receive keep going up in price. Electric and gas services, mortgage, groceries, gas for my car, municipal services, newspaper, etc. If we get a raise, any extra cash goes to all these increases. It's hard to keep your head above water as they say, whoever 'they' are.

I understand the price of business goes up from time to time, but sometimes it seems these increases happen all at once. Somehow we squeeze by...or not. Rant over. Thanks for reading.
