When I was a kid I used to love to watch cartoons. I watch them all including Bugs Bunny, Woody Woodpecker, Felix the Cat, Magilla Gorilla, Yogi Bear, and The Flintstones just to name a few.

I was smart enough to realize that things that were happening during the cartoons weren't happening in real life. I knew the difference between make-believe and reality. Maybe this guy couldn't tell the difference.

I used this as a Strange But True story during Freezone in the Morning this morning. This story came out of Australia, where according to Abc.net.au, a man who was walking around a new apartment complex with a torch at 3:30 in the morning, thought he could pull a Bugs Bunny maneuver to get away from the cops. Police brought in a K-9 unit to help track down the man who was reportedly walking around obviously casing the new apartment complex.

The man thought he could hide from the police by posing as a statue. It's hard to even say that with a straight face. Maybe the guy looked enough like stone to fool the police, but the dog easily located him and brought him to the attention of the police.

According to the report, the 29 year-old man was arrested for trespassing, or as they put it, unlawfully being on premises, and the police also found that he had outstanding court warrants.

I just hope will all the time this man will be spending in prison that he doesn't get any more bright ideas from watching cartoons, or he might end up throwing anvils off cliffs while the anvil has a robe attached to it, with the other end of the rope tied to the man's body.
