Wegmans has announced its stores won't be operating around the clock until further notice as the company continues to respond to coronavirus-related concerns.

The Rochester-based supermarket chain Friday afternoon said it is implementing a temporary change in hours of operation.

The Johnson City store along with other Wegmans locations in New York state will be open from 6 a.m. to midnight. Most Pennsylvania stores will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

In a tweet, Wegmans said it has "no plans to close our stores." The message said "we are doing everything we can to continue our operations."
