Former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Izzy Stradlin posted a 30-second tease of his newest solo track, “Walk ‘N Song,” on his Twitter page. You can check it out above.

The snippet features his longtime collaborators guitarist Rick Richards (from Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds), drummer Patrick Taz Bentley (Reverend Horton Heat) and bassist-percussionist J.T. Longoria plugging away at a steady beat while Stradlin handles guitar and vocals.

“Big thanks to all the support out there for my music works of the past and present!” Stradlin wrote on his Twitter feed after posting the video.

This is the musician’s first release since the 2012 iTunes single "Upside." There's no news so far on whether “Walk ‘N Song” will be a standalone track or a precursor to a full album. Stradlin last released an LP in 2010, called Wave of Heat, which featured GNR alumnus Duff McKagan on bass.

Though Stradlin was a co-founder of Guns ‘N Roses back in 1985, he's not participating in the band's reunion tour this summer. “I’ve also not been in the studio recording or writing with any of the others recently,” he told Rolling Stone in March. “There is so much speculation, but so very little info, [that] I thought I should reach out.” He did, however, perform on several occasions with Axl Rose and the new Guns lineup in 2006 and 2012.

Known for his reclusive behavior, Stradlin surprised fans in March 2016 by joining Twitter and posting a video of his version of Jonathan Edwards’ '70s song “Sunshine.” While his account still isn't verified, he apparently confirmed to Rolling Stone -- as well as with emails sent to Ultimate Classic Rock and other music outlets — that the account is his.
