Upstate NY Christmas Light Display Named Most Magical In U.S.

It's the most wonderful time of the year and an Upstate New York drive-thru Christmas light display has been named one of the nation's best!

One of my favorite things to do around the holidays is pile the kids in the family cruiser, grab some hot cocoa, put on some Christmas music, and just drive around to look at all the Christmas lights and decorations in our local neighborhoods. it just gets all of us super into the spirit of the season! Plus, it's a great way to get our 3-year-old to fall asleep! Ha!

This whole experience goes to another level when we visit a drive-through light display. We have some great ones here in Upstate New York, and one has been recognized as one of the best in the United States!

Upstate NY Drive-Thru Christmas Light Display Named Best In US

The travel experts at Country Living have scoured the nation to find the 35 Most Magical Christmas Light Displays. And coming in at number 8 it's Lights On the Lake in Syracuse! Here is what Country Living had to say about this stunning display:

Lights on the Lake is about a 2-hour 15-minute drive from the Albany area, and based on Country Living's ranking, well worth the road-trip.

Lights On The Lake runs from November 18 through January 23 this year. Admission for a carload of people is $10 Monday through Thursday and $20 Friday through Sunday. Tickets can only purchased online here.
