It was another great season with the Eastern League Binghamton Rumble Ponies. Even though they didn't make the playoffs this year, the games, promotions, and even the weather were fantastic.
One of our Rumble Ponies pitchers, Right Handed Pitcher Brandon Sproat was just named the Mets Minor League Picher of the Year as part of the organization's year-end Player Development Awards
He is being honored at Citi Field before the Mets game tonight against the Philadelphia Phillies. Sproat’s last start with the Rumble Ponies before being promoted to Triple-A Syracuse was historic.
On August 2 vs. New Hampshire, the 24-year-old struck out 11 consecutive batters to end his outing, surpassing the MLB record of 10. Sproat was named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week following that performance.
While the season is over for this year, there are still some exciting events happening. Sunday, September 22nd, for the first time since 2016 the Binghamton Rumble Ponies will be hosting a garage sale in which fans have the opportunity to come to the ballpark at Mirabito Stadium on Henry Street Binghamton and purchase game-worn jerseys, helmets, locker room stools, bats, catcher's gear, and so much more.

The Rumble Ponies will have over 300 items available for purchase, including 2024 Game-Worn Autographed Jerseys, Helmets, Stools, Baseball Bats, and Mystery Baseballs Available For Sale.

The garage sale will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the concourse behind home plate with light food and beverage available for purchase from of the Williams Toyota Concession Stand on the First Base Concourse.
