It’s an Aerosmith vs. Van Halen Weekend

The bell has rung. It's a Classic Rock battle between two heavyweights. In one corner it's the boys from Aerosmith. In the other, it's a variety of members from Van Halen, minus Gary Cherone.

During our weekly weekend theme meeting which includes beer tasting, Jim Free and I were debating which band is better - Van Halen or Aerosmith. Jim and I are fans of both bands, but Jim favors Aerosmith a bit more. Understandable since Van Halen has had some rough patches over the years.

I, on the other hand have a slight favor towards Van Halen - the original lineup with David Lee Roth, although I enjoy the music they produced with Sammy Hagar at the helm.

At any rate, we have dubbed this weekend's theme - Aerosmith versus Van Halen. We've got hourly sets of music from each band for you to enjoy, no matter which you prefer better...or not.
