What? It's National Meatball Day and I just found out. Good thing I didn't miss it.

As I've said before, who comes up with these 'National Days?' Some are cool, kind of, like this one, but some others are just baffling. What's next. National Toilet Day? Oh wait, there is a WorldToilet Day on November 19th.

But let's get back to the Meatball. It deserves its own day. I love meatballs. Covered in red sauce. I prefer the Little Venice sauce by the way, and the way they prepare their meatballs into meat logs.

There are Swedish meatballs, Turkey meatballs, Polish, Dutch and Spanish Meatballs, and I'm sure much more I've never even heard of. Sounds like a scene from Forrest Gump, substituting shrimp for meatballs.

One of my friends makes a version of meatballs with grape jelly and some other ingredients I'm not aware of. Bottom line, it's out of this world.

So, what will I be enjoying for dinner tonight? Pizza. Sorry, that's what I'm in the mood for. Maybe I'll get a meatball topping, alright? Alright.
