The U.S. Food and Drug Administration reported on August 26, 2024, a recall for certain packaged golden raisins products that could produce potentially life-threatening reactions. As of the date of the recall, no illnesses have been reported.

According to the FDA report, the recall is for the 10oz Terrafina Golden Raisins from Sunco & Frenchie LLC of Pine Brook, New Jersey. The recalled raisins may contain undeclared sulfites, distributed through retail stores in New York State by the distributor Smith Valley Foods, LLC.

The FDA notes that the recalled product is in a 10-ounce, clear plastic square-shaped container with bright orange labeling on the front.

The recalled raisins are marked with 'Best If Used By 08/2025, Lot#GRA240602' and 'Best If Used By 05/2025, Lot# GDR240901' on the back of the box. UPC is 847938001385.

According to the recall, anyone who has purchased theTerrafina Brand Golden Raisins should not consume them but rather return the Terrafina Golden Raisins to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.
