If I had to rate myself on a patience scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the most patient person ever born, I would probably be about a 3. And while I enjoy relaxing around the house every now and then, I'm not really one to sit still for long.

Even though I am considered an essential employee here at the radio station, and get to leave the house to come to work everyday, I'm still getting a slight case of cabin fever from being home after work.

I understand the whole call to stay at home to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, so I am trying to be as patient as I can. One thing that is helping me get through this is thinking about things to do in the summer, hopefully after the crisis has passed.

Things like going to one of the Finger Lakes to visit the wineries and having a nice lunch on the deck enjoying the view of the lake. I'm also looking forward to a nice warm summer night at NYSEG Stadium enjoying a cold beer  while watching the Binghamton Rumble Ponies play.

Being able to enjoy a round of golf with my wife Chris and my stepson Ian on a nice warm summer day gives me hope. Being able to go to a restaurant and sit down to enjoy a nice meal with friends is another thing I'm looking forward to.

Even something as simple as having friends over the house for a game night is something I can't wait to do once the stay-at-home order is lifted. But for now, we all need to stay at home and follow the suggestions from the medical professionals. If we don't, the virus will continue to spread and we will all be stuck inside for the entire summer and that would suck.

I'm sure, for a short time anyway, once this is over and we are able to resume our normal lives, I will pause to appreciate everything I couldn't do under the shelter in place, and be even more grateful for all of it.

What are you most looking forward to doing once the Covid-19 crisis has passed?
