Dog Days of Summer Classic Rock Weekend

It's August. I know this because my calendar says so, and it's my birthday month, so there.

During the weekly meeting Jim Free and I have, one of our tasks is coming up with a Classic Rock weekend theme. Some weeks it's an easy call, and other weeks we're racking our puny brains trying to come up with something that you will enjoy listening to.

Well, this week we could not think of anything exciting, so we stole an idea from one of our brother radio stations deep down in the heart of Texas. Since this is typically called the "Dog Days of Summer" and it's hotter than hell in Texas, it makes sense for a weekend theme.

It's been hot here also this summer, so basically, each hour this hot weekend, we are playing triple shots of cool Classic Rock songs for you. Clever or silly, it sounds good to me, so enjoy!
