Cruisin’Pallooza 13: Be Prepared for a Weekend of Fun

If I had one piece of advice for you this weekend it would be for you to recite the Boy Scout Motto; 'Be Prepared.'

I have been in contact with the weather geeks at WBNG TV, and while there is a lot of unsettles weather in the area for the weekend, just because it's raining where you are, it doesn't necessarily mean that it will be raining at the Broome County Fairgrounds in Whitney Point for Cruisin'Pallooza 13.

BUT... BE PREPARED.

While considering any event this weekend, make sure you bring along an umbrella and a raincoat or a poncho. Maybe an extra pair of socks and another pair of shoes would be a cool thing to pack in the trunck of your car?

There's lots going on in Whitney Point this weekend, by the way. There's a triathalon at Dorchester Park. There's a brand new Farmers Market open all weekend next to The Scoop Ice Cream Shop on route 11. Plus we have the biggest Cruisin'Pallooza hot rod and custom car show, flea market and bike event ever. So come to Broome County's northern most town and have a ball this weekend!

CRUISIN’PALLOOZA 13 Itinerary

Friday. 5pm..    Cars arrive at NYSEG Stadium and vendors open at fairgrounds. 5:45      Cars leave for a cruise to the fairgrounds.

6pm     Cruisin Radio with Spins-A-Lot Entertainment Mobile DJ Service 6:30     Cars arrive at the Broome County Faigrounds.

7:00     Live Music with Tim Ruffo and Outlaw Country

8pm    (at dark) Movie under the starts begin. (Cannonball Run)

Saturday

8am    Show car registration begins ($13)

9am.   Gates open,  vendors open

10am  Cruisin’Radio begins with “SpinsALot Entertainment”

10am  Kids Zone Opens

11am  Ross Park zoomobile arrives (till 2pm)

11am  Car voting begins

11am  Live Music with Voodoo Highway

1pm   voting ends

1pm   Live music with ‘The Look’

3:30pm   awards ceremony

4pm   Dicks Garage and 23 1/2 hr  best of show trophy presentation

Sunday

8 am gates open.

9:30 to 10:30am

Motorcycle ride sign ups at Southern Tier Harley Davidson.

9-noon       Bike Show Registration begins ($13) 1

0am          Kids Zone Opens

11-am         Live music with Recycled Zombies

11 am         Bike Voting begins

1pm            Bike games begin on the track

2pm            Red Knights Burnout Box Opens on track

3pm            Bike Show trophy presentation

4pm            Show ends
