Congressman Anthony Brindisi is hosting his third Telephone Town Hall on the coronavirus pandemic April 2.

The Democrat says he plans to give an update on work in Congress to secure federal assistance for communities in the district and take questions.

The House and Senate last week passed the $2.4 trillion coronavirus relief package.

The Town Hall starts at 5 p.m..  Residents can sign up by going online to www.brindisi.house.gov/live to receive the call-in.

The Utica Democrat has hosted two previous sessions, both while he was self quarantined after coming into contact with another Congressman who had tested positive for COVID-19. With a ban on public gatherings and social distancing guidelines, there's no indication when any leader will be able to schedule traditional Town Hall meetings in the future,
