Produce and other plants are continuing to improve the quality of life in the neighborhood around the Columbus Park Community Garden in Binghamton.

Rockwell Collins, the United Way, City of Binghamton and the VINES Program have recently renovated the community garden.

The facility was first developed by VINES in 2007 and was in need of renovations.

Rockwell Collin’s Green Communities Grant program provided about $2,500 with $2,000 coming through the United Way of Broome County.  The City of Binghamton helped to provide design services.
