John Bonham would have been 67 years old on Sunday. Hard to believe he's been gone since 1980 due to an accidental death.

John Henry Bonham (Banging Bonzo) was born May 31, 1948 in Redditch, Worchestershire, England, and died September 25th, 1980 in Berkshire, England, . His passion with drums began as a child when he assembled a set of cans for a homemade drum set.

In 2011, John was named the best drummer of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine along with many other accolades as one of Rock's best drummers. He played for several bands before becoming a part of Led Zeppelin. John worked with others during breaks with Led Zeppelin, and even appeared in a movie - 'Son Of Dracula' playing drums in a vampire band.

In memory of one of, if not the best, drummers of all time, here's John Henry Bonham at his best during a performance of Led Zeppelin's 'Moby Dick.' We're sure you're playing an awesome solo in Rock-n-Roll Heaven, Happy Birthday John.
