September 2nd,1965, a bunch of guys walked into the World Pacific Studios in Los Angeles to record six tunes.

Those musicians called themselves Rick & the Ravens, which included Ray Manzarek, John Densmore and Jim Morrison. The band originally formed in 1961, and featured two of Ray Manzarek's brothers, Rick and Jim.

Those six songs recorded on September 2nd of 1965 eventually became The Doors songs. They are Hello, I Love You, Summer's Almost Gone, Go Insane, Moonlight Drive, End Of The Night and My Eyes Have Seen You.

The entire session was completed in just 3 hours. Enjoy The Doors playing Hello, I Love You live at The Bowl in 1968, as our Classic Rock Pick of the Week.
