Broome County Emergency Services officials say they have no information on the possible cause of an apartment house fire in Johnson City over the weekend from which a child was pulled, unconscious from the burning building.

The 10-year-old girl was taken to an area hospital and her condition was not available.

The fire broke out at around 3:51 a.m. Saturday, June 5 at 55 Allen Street.

Officials with the Southern Tier Chapter of the American Red Cross were called in to assist a reported ten residents who were displaced by the blaze.

The extent of damage to the apartment house was not available.

In addition to the child who was transported to the hospital, two other people were reportedly treated at the scene for minor injuries.
