UPDATE: October 4, 2017 - Kyle Lenga has been found and is safe.

Original Story

It’s been nearly five days since anyone has seen or heard from 27-year-old Kyle Lenga of West Corners and now, his family is begging for help from our community to find him.

Lenga was last seen at 8pm on Thursday, September 28th as he was leaving a home in the Town of Union driving a tan 2002 Toyota Corolla 4 door sedan with New York plates HEX 5984. Lenga sent a text message to a relative at 11:30pm and hasn’t been heard from since. His cell phone was last pinged in Corning and was found in Watkins Glen.

A family member reports to Townsquare Media Binghamton that Lenga left his dogs with a family member and that a red flag went up when he did that because Lenga, an active member of husky rescue, is known to take his dogs everywhere with him, he doesn’t leave his pups behind.

Lenga is described as being a white male, who stands 5’10” tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds. Lenga has brown hair, hazel eyes, multiple tattoos and facial piercings.

Lenga is a graduate of Union-Endicott and works for Cook Brothers in Binghamton. His family tells us that Lenga is “a great kid who would give the shirt off his back for anybody.”
